Our approach

Responsible AI for Education

AmplifiU follows the Australian Framework for Generative AI in Schools as a guide for responsible use. We use AI to support educators while keeping teachers in control of the work and the decisions made for learners.

Six guiding principles

How the framework shapes our approach

These six principles reflect the commitments in AmplifiU's Responsible AI policy and show how we apply the Australian Framework for Generative AI in Schools to our teacher-led platform.

Teaching and Learning

AmplifiU is designed to augment teachers, not replace them. Educators control the instructions and work with AI to create learning resources. They can manage, edit or delete generated content, and decide what is appropriate for their learners.

Human and Social Wellbeing

We are committed to the wellbeing and safety of users and school communities. Our human-centred approach involves co-design with people from different parts of education. AmplifiU aims to strengthen teacher capability while respecting human dignity, relationships and professional judgement.

Transparency

We aim to explain our AI in clear, understandable terms and identify AI-generated content, including its potential for inaccuracies and bias. Teachers are guided to review outputs before classroom use. School dashboards and usage insights give leaders visibility into how AmplifiU is being used across their school.

Fairness

We respect the cultural rights of communities and consult teachers from different regions and backgrounds. Their feedback helps us improve inclusion, equity and accessibility. Schools and users retain ownership of content they upload or create; AmplifiU does not claim intellectual property rights over it.

Accountability

AmplifiU supports specific tasks as a collaborative assistant. It does not replace human decision-making or autonomy. Teachers and school leaders remain accountable for decisions supported by AI. We use quality testing and control practices, and ongoing user feedback to monitor emerging risks.

Privacy, Security and Safety

We collect and process data for its intended purpose in line with applicable Indian law, including the DPDP Act. We explain what data is collected, used and shared; support access, correction and deletion requests; do not sell user, school or student data; and do not use client data to train unrelated models or for broader AI research. We protect data and notify affected people and authorities of reportable breaches as required.

Review and feedback

Bias, inaccuracies and teacher feedback

Generative AI can reproduce stereotypes, leave out perspectives or present incorrect information. AmplifiU uses educational guardrails and keeps educators involved in reviewing and improving outputs to reduce these risks. These safeguards support better decisions, but cannot guarantee that every response is accurate, fair or suitable for a particular class.

Educational guardrails

AmplifiU's guided workflows give the AI an educational frame, such as the curriculum, year level, subject, learning goals and teaching approach. This context helps shape relevant drafts and keeps the work focused on the classroom task.

Teachers stay in the loop

Teachers can review, edit and refine generated resources before using them. They remain responsible for checking accuracy, fairness and fit for their learners, and decide what is ready for the classroom.

What to look for

Check facts and curriculum fit. Notice stereotypes, missing perspectives, exclusionary language and examples that may not suit your learners or school context. Adapt the material before using it.

Flag concerns and help us improve

Teachers can use AmplifiU's thumbs-up or thumbs-down control to flag an inaccurate, biased or otherwise concerning output. This human feedback helps us identify where closer review is needed and informs ongoing refinement of our educational workflows.
